Why Serbia?

Serbia offers excellent business opportunities in an environment that is focused on growth and development. Steps are being taken to make Serbia more investor-friendly, which includes streamlined administrative procedures, favorable tax regimes, and various incentives available in specific fields of operation.

You will find Serbia attractive not only for its potential for business growth, but its developing infrastructure, the low living as well as operational costs, and the excellent local talent pool. While Serbia is not a member of the EU, it shares borders with several member states, making it a fine stepping stone if you want to expand your business.

Setting up a limited liability company in Serbia is easy and straightforward. The minimum share capital is only RSD 100 (less than EUR 1.00), and it takes only a few business days. There are no restrictions on nationality, so you can easily start doing business in Europe even if you are not planning to become a local resident.

Over the years, we have streamlined our workflows to offer our clients a worry-free experience when they are starting their business in Europe. Why should I set up an LLC in Serbia?

Compared to other business structures, the main advantage of setting up an LLC in Serbia is that owners are liable for damages only to a limited degree, defined by their share capital. At the same time, incorporating an LLC is easy and straightforward, and takes only a few business day.

Why should I have my registered office with Helpers?

In Serbia, every company is required to have a registered address. This is where authorities expect to be able to reach your company, so at this address you should have personnel ready to receive official mail on your behalf at all times, and forward it to you or your accountant as necessary. If you have your registered office with Helpers, you do not have to rent an office and hire an employee for this purpose right from Day 1, but you can still rest assured that your company complies with all legal obligations.

Will my Serbian company need an accountant?

Yes, it will. Every Serbian company needs an accountant, and we would be happy to offer you accounting services with one of our trusted partners. Your Serbian accountant will be your best ally in planning your budget and keeping your business compliant with local tax and payroll related regulations.

Can I set up a subsidiary in Serbia?

Yes, your Serbian company can be either a unique business or a subsidiary to your existing foreign business. This requires extra paperwork, but nothing our experts couldn’t take care of. Feel free to ask us about the details.

Can I get Sebian residency based on company formation?

Yes, you can apply for Serbian residency based on operating your Serbian company. Once you receive your residency, your entire family will become eligible too (meaning your spouse and your underage children). If you are planning residency application, however, the share capital of the company should be slightly higher, at least EUR 250 or so. Learn more here.
